Lake County Community Planning and Development Department

Lake County Community Planning and Development
Lake County Community Planning and Development administers all building, plumbing, mechanical, roofing, and solar permits for both the County and the City of Leadville. This Department also administers all Lake County planning, zoning, subdivision, and all other land use matters, including Mapping. The Mapping Department was reestablished in 2020 to make County data accessible through geo-visualization, as well as maintain and archive existing GIS data and physical historic maps.

The LLCRHA was able to apply for Exemption from Audit for the years 2022, 2023 ,2024 and 2025 because the total revenues for each of these years was under $200,000. The State of Colorado approved each of these years' applications.
