A Little About Us
History of the Leadville and Lake County Regional Housing Authority
- The LLCRHA was established in 2022 through an intergovernmental partnership between Lake County and the City of Leadville to address the community’s growing housing affordability challenges, formalizing a coordinated, regional approach to housing policy, development, and preservation. Since its formation, the LLCRHA has focused on building organizational capacity, advancing strategic planning, and supporting the development and stewardship of affordable and workforce housing to ensure long-term housing stability and economic resilience for residents of Lake County and Leadville.
Mission and Vision Statement
- Vision: Ensure all residents of Leadville and Lake County have access to safe, affordable, and appropriate housing that supports the vitality, equity, and sustainability of our communities.
- Mission: To develop, facilitate, and advocate for housing solutions that meet the diverse needs of the local workforce, seniors, and low- to moderate-income residents through strategic partnerships, development, and policy leadership.
